Always be shipping
We had a crazy couple of days last week packing and shipping several projects for several destinations like Mexico City, New York and Berlin. We couldn’t stop thinking about Seth Godin’s work philosophy "What you do for a living is not be creative, what you do for a living is ship" and no matter how tired and sweaty we got, we were excited about “shipping”.
Scott Belsky enforces this and other productivity methods and philosophies in one of our favorite books “Making Ideas Happen: Overcoming the Obstacles Between Vision and Reality”. If you run a studio or work in any creative business, you face this enormous challenge often, and this book will help you overcome it.
