New Mexican Design at Palacio de Hierro

Last week was a great step for our creative direction project with Ofimodul; our first collection Línea01 was presented at the inauguration of “New Mexican Design”. This project, curated by Ana Elena Mallet and put together by one of Mexico’s most important department stores El Palacio de Hierro features 6 young studios and designers who’s products will be at sale in selected destinations.

We are really excited about this opportunity to sell our designs at this important outlet, bringing good design out of boutiques and into a bigger market. Other designers participating include our good friends Christian Vivanco, Moises Hernandez and Oscar Nuñez, together with studios like La Metropolitana, Studio Roca and Mob.

Palacio de Hierro made a selection of our Línea01 furniture objects in red with lightwood, a very bold combination that will sure capture the attention of shoppers. The New Mexican Design showcase will take place during march at 5 Mexico City stores.
